Ideal for someone 5'6" - 6' tall, this aqua green powder coated dream was handmade approximately 3-5 years ago using 100 year old traditional methods - with tubing hand-brazed into lugs - for the attention to detail that only a frame crafted by hand can possess.
The Springtime Sonnet features a classic step through frame design, for ease of mounting and dismounting. It also provides an elegant and comfortable upright riding position, giving the rider a good view of other road users and the scenery, with the added bonus of encouraging a healthy posture.
The classic and lightweight 3 speed hub gears let you tackle hills while still keeping a good pace around the city. With a traditional easy-to-use thumb gear lever, this bicycle empowers you to glide along flatter terrain with ease, and climb inclines at a gentle pace. Because it's a fully enclosed gear system, it requires minimal maintenance.
The enclosed and sealed hub brakes are also long-lasting and robust, providing excellent stopping power come rain or shine.
For added visibility, front, rear, and pedal reflectors all help to keep you safer on the road at night.
The traditional style fenders, with beautiful hand-applied silver-line detail, protect you from unsightly mud splashes, providing all-weather practicality.
Equipped with a classic frame-fitted pump in highly polished chrome, which fits securely to the cycle frame via integrated pump-pegs, keeping it easily at-hand when your tires need an extra top-off of air.
A streamlined chain guard protects you from greasy oil marks, and helps prevent your attire from catching in the chain.
The gorgeous cream Schwalbe tires resist punctures to give you uninterrupted riding pleasure, thanks to an inner Kevlar Guard belt that needs less rubber coating and thus has a reduced weight. They also come with reflective side walls for extra visibility after dark.
